Tenir Eco Hotel, Shymbulak Mountain Resort

Dirty windows in the house ruined the view, the administrator forgot to order breakfast for 09:00, and we had to wait. Waiters in dirty clothes and awful hats in the restaurant, it was cold and smelled of smoke in the restaurant. I’m ashamed of our service.

Location, humble staff, cleaned 5 star quality room, amenities & ambience. The set breakfast provided was just fantastic & great offerings.

Breakfast served very late (start at 10am and finish at 12pm) Inconsistent water temperature. Room is a bit dusty (could be because of the fur blanket)

This is the best place to stay at, the property is brilliant with endless views. The bed and room are very comfortable. Clean bathroom with sauna. The staff are so polite and extremely helpful, especially Iyngkar the supervisor. Food is available until 4 pm on the same property and there are arrangements to descend to the lower station for dinner in the evening. Highly also recommend bringing some food of your own as well.

The instructions I received before check-in were very helpful, making the arrival process smooth. However, accessibility still requires some planning, but views are amazing!

The bed and the pillow are very very bad, too hard to move to the hotel from the cable car station specially if you’re going from the room to the station, the cable car timings are not the same always, last day we couldn’t go down because of some maintenance and we forced to stay on the room for more than 14 hours without food because no one can bring us food and the restaurant was closed ,the key of the room was so huge and the toilet was smelly most of the time

One of the best stays I've ever had. View was incredible, the supervisor Ingkar was amazing help, the room was stunning ... Honestly just a magical stay, and it's very hard for me not to give 10/10. I have never felt more relaxed in a more beautiful location, and found ourselves sitting by the window for hours.

I was just disappointed with the location. Not the fault of the Hotel, but Shymbulak Ski resort itself was disappointing. It's a Ski resort designed for day tourists who return to city before dark, and doesn't keep enough open for people staying in the resort. Bringing the luggage up to the hotel was very difficult and tiring (Cable cars only). The cable car turned off at 4:30pm, and is the ONLY way to and from Hotel to the main Ski resort. The limited Cable car timings after that were not good enough and had us quickly paying the bill to rush back to the hotel so we did not get stranded. Restaurants all closed at 4:30pm, and the 3 that stayed open after 5pm ran out of everything on the Menu. The Altitude of hotel is 10,500ft (3200m) ... that's 1/3 of the height of Mt Everest, I would NOT recommended consuming alcohol (like we did) because it had a very negative impact on our altitude sickness.. The second night however we were fine with minor high altitude symptoms, but still took some heavy breathing given the lower oxygen.Despite all the of that, still an 8/10 for one of the best stays we've had. I recommend only coming here if Night Skiing is on, when restaurants open later. Also I recommend doing all research first, this hotel can only be accessed at certain timings. Late night flight? Forget about it. Arrive before 3:30pm, on a night Ski night, or prepare to be stressed.

My stay at Tenir Eco Hotel was exceptional in every way! The location is breathtaking, surrounded by towering mountains and offering stunning views of nature, making the experience truly unforgettable. The room was clean, very comfortable, and had a modern design that blended perfectly with the surrounding landscape. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist. Breakfast was delicious and diverse, especially when enjoyed outdoors with a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

i came on January very bad location to reach and no asstiance to carry your bags ,limited type of food and not good , for room service we need to pay extra for delivering food to room ,i paid 2000 and 5000 thousand extra, very bad Wifi connection and no signal for mobile network, for cable car tickets only one time use i paid extra because i stayed 2 nights , limited time for cable car which not useful , heater and sauna not working room was very cold , I don't recommend this facility to stay because over priced for for service provided

This hotel is located at top of the mountain. The access is by cable car only. But it is amazing how they could create and maintain such a facility at the top. The views and sauna experience was excellent. The interiors are made very well.The restaurant there had a fireplace and the food with service was good.

The breakfast was bring to the room because of technical issues in the restaurant. It would be more interesting to have it in the restaurant

Beautiful location and gorgeous room! The staff was easy to reach via Whatsapp and generally very helpful. We had a wonderful time watching stars up on the mountain. The room is very specious and comfortable. There is Netflix and other streaming services available for the down time, but the nature outside is amazing.

Only down side is that restaurants and stores are quite far. If you want to have dinner you would need to take a gandola down in a specific time. Also there are no stores nearby, so if you need something basica like female hygene stuff, or anything like that you should bring it with you. There is a mini-bar, so snacks are covered.

Outstanding view and the feeling of sleeping in such a high altitude ?Amazing that in the room one also has their own sauna!Hosts are wonderful, they also offered us a wine tasting at the restaurant 20 meters from our house.Overall this was a unique unforgettable experience! Thanks a lot guys!

Loved everything about this hotel, a small cabin just you and some others on top of the mountain. Getting there can be quite tough if you are with a luggage, so would recommend to store your luggage at the airport and bring a bagpack etc. The hill from the last cableway station can be quite steep while going down to the cabins. The cabin has everything you need, a sauna to keep you warm, toilet bidet, towels and soaps etc. The bed was very comfortable, and you could even play Netflix on the TV. There's heater for the room and toilet as well. Everything is just complete and the experience was priceless. The receptionist and hotel staff were helpful and could understand and speak English well. Breakfast was at the cafe, just across the cabins and it was excellent. Would definitely want to return here again.

To get dinner you would have to follow the schedule of the cableway as there are no eateries open around the compound. It is very dark to be outside at night.
